What we collect

We collect the information you give us, and a small amount of technical information, including:

• Your name, email address and phone number.
• Anything you choose to share in our forms, calls, texts or emails.
• Your answers to the questions on our booking form, so we can understand how best to help.
• Payment information, which is handled securely by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.
• Basic technical data such as your browser type and general location, through standard website tools.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Arrange and deliver your coaching.
• Take notes so we can support you well between sessions.
• Take payment for sessions and packages.
• Stay in touch with you about your bookings and sessions.

We contact you by text and email. You can opt out of non-essential messages at any time.

Text messages

If you give us your phone number, you agree that we may send you text messages about your bookings and sessions. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop these messages at any time by replying to let us know.

Coaching calls and notes

Coaching sessions may be recorded so that Alison can take accurate notes and give you her full attention during your session. Recordings and notes are private, and recordings are deleted within 90 days.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We only share it with the trusted services that help us run the coaching, and only so they can provide that service to us. These include our booking and messaging platform, our payment provider, our calendar and email provider, and our call-notes tool. Each of these is required to keep your information secure and confidential.

How long we keep it

We keep your client records for as long as you are a client and for a reasonable period afterwards, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Call recordings are deleted within 90 days.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. You can also withdraw your consent to being contacted. To do any of these, email alison@breakupgirl.com and we will help.

Security

We store your information on secure, access-controlled and password-protected systems, and we take reasonable steps to keep it safe.

Cookies

Our site uses a small number of cookies and similar tools to help the site and booking form work properly. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
